The park grounds are beautiful. However, the workers/volunteers were very disrespectful. They were always checking on whatever we were doing... Always asking us to turn down the music when it was the middle of the day and we were just trying to have fun. They also intruded our space... that's against the Florida "Castle Doctrine". Very impolite and rude... I really don't recommend this place to anyone.
We spent the weekend in the campgrounds and everything looked nice until the park attendants started to bug us in our spots making us turn the music down when everyone else was playing music too. I've never experienced racism so straight forward. Only because we were playing Spanish music did they bother us. I really wish I could give this a better rating but this gave us a really bad time. We were threatened that we'd get the Sherif called on for simply playing music. Nice park but a terrible time.
I wasn't going to leave a review but after seeing other people had issues with the staff I now know it's not just us. The host on our first day (female) was awesome and very helpful. However on our last day while we were dumping our tanks, the host (older gentleman) came out of the booth and told us we were flushing our black tank too long and that we were costing tax payers money..wow! The thing is..our rig has three tanks so we were dumping the last gray tank when he came over. Funny thing though, our friends spent the same amount of time dumping and he said nothing to them. I'm afraid there was a bit of bias with the male host.
Nice place to take the family. But needs a huge up grade been the same for way To many years
